Why using sound healing?

The theory behind using sound for healing purposes is that the human body is made up of cells, all of which have an energy field that can be impacted by the vibration and waves of sounds. The human body has its own electromagnetic frequency, which can be affected by the sound waves. By using different frequencies, different ailments and conditions can therefore be addressed.

 

HOW IT WORKS?

Sound healing including various type of intruments and sounds ( Monique uses the Tibetan singing bowls, Tingsha cymbals and some music meditations...) It works on the principle that energy particles in our body can respond to sound waves which have the ability to stimulate emotional and physical responses.
Sound therapy uses instruments with the aim of removing negative energy and restoring balance and health to the body. In every tune there are vibrating energies which are linked to the chakras in our body that help the organs return to optimal health.

Tibetan singing bowls: It can affect neurology as well as the psychology of the listener. When used during a sound meditation, it affects the frequencies of the brain waves, helping the brain to enter the Theta state (the state in deep relaxation), it is connected to creativity, learning, memory and intuition. Your senses are away from the outer world and focused on your inner world.

During a sound healing session, some may experience different emotions, feel vibrations in parts of their body, see visuals and even experience past memories. During a Tibetan sound healing session : the singing bowls are placed onto and around the human body and act with their sound to restore and to balance the chakras and to bring harmonious vibration.

When you are in a deep relaxation through the sound of the singing bowls, the body is affected on a cellular level, opening up the flow of energy to move you back toward a vibrational alignment with health. After a  sound healing session, most people have a feeling of peace, harmony and well-being; they feel present, centered, and in-tune. The sounds of bowls resonate with every cell in the body to release blockages, to restore balance in the body’s energy field, to help restore blood pressure, to open and to balance the meridians, and to stimulate the immune system.

Tibetan Tingsha Cymbals can produce a surprisingly loud sound for such a small instrument. They are played by hitting the two edges together and then allowing them to move apart from each other so that the tone can resonate throughout the room. The sound that comes from these bells is a high pitched cleansing sound and vibration. It produces tones that resonate for several seconds before gently falling away, and can be used when on the move. The small bells originate in Tibet and are used by Buddhist practitioners. It’s a great way to use tingsha to begin a meditation process and to end one. The reason is the sound helps us open up for a meditation and then close one. Tingsha Bells can be used for Sound Healing and Meditation. It can assist the flow of the breath. Tinging them one time for the inhale and one time for the exhale.

They can also be used for Feng Shui and clearing space. The purifying tone of these bells are rung in each corner of a room for Feng Shui. More and more people are using Tingsha bells nowadays to clear their space and aura. This is a very inexpensive way to clear your crystals. The higher frequencies of these bells are typically used more for opening the upper chakras rather than the lower chakras which usually have a lower deeper tone. 

Tingsha are an inexpensive and most intimidating option for sound healing. They come in different sizes which produce different levels of frequencies.
